My Poem: Stranger

© 2009 Hachiko Yukimora

This sneer person is
Green with envy
Such familiar within nature
How you sit stand
You grace us with your stature

Along this cobblestone path
Lies a stranger within the woods
Beware the stingy darkness
For in it lies
Evil’s wrath

You see that stranger
Further up the walk
Who might you ponder
The needs desired
Before this Man would say come hither

Now I ask
too refined for such task
not only envious, how naïve
who might you think, behind this mask?
