My Poem: The Tear-filled Sky

© 2009 Hachiko Yukimora

It’s raining
The sky is crying
My dress is getting wet
And I can’t seem to find anywhere to hide

There is a meadow
A field filled with pretty flowers
Red hibiscus
Blue mist
Yellow tulips
Hurrahing over the big blue’s gift

It’s thundering
And I am scared
The sky is angry
My body is shaking
And I can’t seem to find anyone

There I notice a glint of sunshine
Peaking through slate clouds
